Looking for some fun things to do online this long weekend? Here are a few ideas to try out!
Click the links below to explore the world
Explore Live Cams. Are you ever curious about what the animals do in the zoo after hours or how they sleep at night?  Have you ever seen the Northern lights from Churchill?  Or are you curious about baby chicks hatching from a nest high up in a tree?  All of these things and more can be explored from the comfort of your own home.

Hogwarts Digital Escape Room. While escape rooms have become more and more popular, they are also becoming popular online.  Enjoy this Harry Potter escape room that can be played from the comfort of your own home.  Play it by yourself or with a team.

Virtual Tours of National Parks. Have you ever been to Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area, Yellowstone National Park, or the Grand Canyon National Park? You can visit these parks and conservation areas from the comfort of your own home.  It is easy.  First open Google Earth.  Next search National Parks.  Make a selection.  And enjoy the available information and beautiful pictures.

Virtual Tours of Arts & Culture. Ever wondered how big the Mona Lisa is, what the Colosseum looks like from the inside, or just how big a T-Rex’s skeleton is?  All of this and more is available at the touch of your finger.  Virtual tours of museums, cultural sites, and even art are available online without having to make a big trip sometimes across the world.

Live Audio Streams. Interested in music or just curious about operas?  The Metropolitan Opera is streaming operas for free.  See their schedule for show times.

Free Online Yoga. Are you in the need for some quiet, peaceful, mindfulness? Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced in yoga there are hours of video instruction for adults and kids. You can also check out free Kids Yoga with Modo Yoga Thunder Bay on their Instagram! Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00am.

Free Adult Colouring Pages. Do you enjoy art, doodling, or colouring?  There are many free adult colouring pages available online.  Just download, print, and colour.  Enjoy!

Virtual Workouts. Can’t get to the gym or is it closed after hours.? Participate and get your sweat on with virtual workouts from your own home.

Audiobooks. If you are a bookworm and enjoy reading, there are free audio books available online.  Remember that some subscriptions need to be cancelled before the deadline or you will be charged for a subscription thereafter.

All of this from the comfort of your own home, stay safe everyone!
